2 Sep 2025 Ian Sollom, MP for St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire was welcomed at Dovehouse Court recently, selected by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) as a recent winner of a RIBA East Award for its inspiring design and futureproofing technology. 26 Aug 2025 Girton Town Charity is supporting a new ten-week Babysitting Course, organised by the Connections Bus Project and open to Village residents aged 14-17 years. The first course has now been completed – and received very positive feedback from participants. The sessions covered such topics as: what makes a good babysitter, the law and what we expect, building effective relationships and learning, listening and communication skills. 26 Aug 2025 A further award has been given to the almshouses at Dovehouse Court for their inspirational design and excellent sustainability credentials – the first in the UK to fully conform to certified Passivhaus standards.
